When you appear at the office of the regional state administration to submit your application or to receive a registration certificate you must always bring your original passport or other valid travel document.
Application
You may apply for a registration certificate in three ways:
The application must be submitted to the regional state administration in the region where you reside or intend to reside when you move to Denmark. You can also apply at International Citizen Service in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense or Aalborg.
At some regional state administrations the department that processes these cases may have office hours that differ from the ordinary office hours of the state administration. You may find detailed information under each regional state administration.
Application for an EU residence document You may also get an application form at the regional state administration and fill it in right away.
We shall process your case on the basis of the information that you state in your application and the supporting documents. In some cases the regional state administration will seek further information regarding your case, for instance from the social authorities, the tax authorities, the police as well as relevant authorities abroad. |
